Functional Training

CSC understands that the method of functional training is a phenomenon that has revolutionised the world of sport and how the training was understood.

This method is already used in each discipline providing an entertaining and innovative way to reach a high efficiency.

Simplifying, training functionally is to establish the objective of balancing all systems and resources that we have such as strength, power, stability, balance, coordination, speed … so that our body can optimize every movement to high degrees of accuracy and self-conception.

As you will understand each person is different and has shortcomings in some of these aspects, e.g. he/she “is a very powerful person, but certainly does not control his/her power which will furthermore affect the balance.

Functional training makes you more aware of the mechanisms that work in every situation and every specific movement. Thus the systems compensate and the improvement in the areas of our shortcomings is produced successfully.

  • This system allows us to work whole muscle chain (not isolated muscles regardless of the stabilizing muscles of the trunk, as usual in fitness machines).

    • The material we use for training is multiple and varied, it may be, elastic bands, unstable platforms, fit-balls (medicine balls), etc. Thus we are always preventing overload and offering a joint work of the stabilizing musculature, which is very important and totally forgotten part in traditional workout programs with muscle machines.

      Starting on this basis and from a well structured training programme, the benefits and progresses are assured.

      CSC has its own specific functional training program (with groups of up to 6 people), which can be applied to surfing or other sports in general.

      Functional Training: GROOMS SPECIA

      CSC launches a campaign against childhood obesity by establishing a specific functional training program for children..

      Every Thursday at 6pm, a circuit of functional training is offered that will make the child get used to the discipline of training by establishing a healthy habit to his/her daily life, and moreover makes him/her learn techniques to establish routines for future trainings.
